Reflections Opening Lecture

Opening lecture for Reflections: African American Life from the Myrna Colley-Lee Collection. Susan McClamroch, co-curator of Reflections and executive director of the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center for Arts and Education, will give an opening lecture. Reception immediately following at 6:30 – Lower Level Galleries
Reflections celebrates the diversity of African American identity; a story of self, place and time, shaped and influenced by people and events of the past. Comprised of select works from the private collection of arts patron and advocate Myrna Colley-Lee, this exhibition includes such noted artists as Elizabeth Catlett, Romare Bearden, Gwen Knight, Betye Saar, James Van Der Zee, and Eudora Welty.
