An opening for the position of PART TIME FACILITY WORKER exists in the Recreation Maintenance Department, City of Laurel, Mississippi.

Education and experience required:

*Graduation from high school or equivalent

*Ability to assist with reception duties at facility

*Ability to maintain cleanliness of facility such as sweeping, mopping, and removing debris and trash from the facility

*Knowledge of proper storage and use of cleaning chemicals

*Knowledge of proper grammar and proper use of English in speaking and writing

*Ability to lift and set up tables and chairs as needed for facility events

*Ability to communicate effectively with residents, elected officials, other City employees, etc., both orally and in writing

*Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions

*Ability to work flexible hours

*Other duties as assigned

*Salary: $7.25 per hour
