CHIEF OF POLICE APPRECIATES EMPLOYEES WITH A TAILGATE PARTY
Posted on: October 19, 2012
Laurel Chief of Police, Tyrone Stewart spent the afternoon at the grill as he prepared a first- class barbeque for the members of the police force. Employees got to delight in steak, grilled and fried chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, potato salad and red velvet cake.
“It was nice to see people relax and just appreciate them,” said Stewart.
The weather definitely cooperated as police officers and office workers joined at the Law Enforcement Complex to taste the chief’s cooking. In light of the recent honors from Wal-Mart and a grant from the Project Safe Neighborhoods, as recognition for a job well done, the LPD deserved to be recognized and appreciated.
