302, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Application and required documents must be returned on or before Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 4:30
p.m.

The City of Laurel, Mississippi will be giving a Civil Service Examination for the position of Entry-Level
Police Officer on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 8:00 a.m.

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid MS driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED
• U.S. Citizen and registered voter in the county where residing
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to pass Entry-level Police Officer Civil Service Examination
• Able to attend and successfully complete MS Law Enforcement Officer Training Academy
