MASK UP HALLOWEEN!!
The City of Laurel continues to be in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic; even though the cases and the deaths are declining, the risk is not gone. We realize that many children, and the adults who host Halloween activities for those children, look forward to these activities each year.
We will celebrate “MASK-UP HALLOWEEN” on Saturday, October 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. We are asking for your cooperation as we attempt to celebrate the holiday as safely as possible.
• We ask that all participants wear a cloth mask, including the host, just in case some of the trick-or-treaters do not have on a mask. Please do not substitute a cloth mask for a costume mask. Please do not wear a costume mask over your cloth mask.
• Please attempt to not touch the other children, and please do your best to keep your hands from your eyes.
• Please do not attempt to eat your treats as you collect them. This would mean taking off your mask. Please wait until you get home to enjoy your treats.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation, and let us have a safe and Happy Halloween!
