The Mississippi Department of Mental Health partnered with South Central Regional Medical Center’s Senior Care Facility to sponsor Mental Health in Aging Education Day: A Day of Alzheimer’s Education on Friday, September 7th from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at South Central Place in Laurel. Participants who attended the free education seminar were engaged with an interactive agenda throughout the day that provided a complete overview of Alzheimer’s disease and how to provide care for loved ones.
