Special Call Meeting Notice

Due to scheduling conflicts with City Officials attending The Mississippi Municipal League Conference, please note the following changes;

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 21-8-11 (2), Mississippi Code of 1972,

WHEREAS, that the regular meeting of the Laurel City Council, shall be held on the first

Tuesday after the first Monday of each month or at such other times as the council by order may

set. The regular meeting will commence at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

WHEREAS, due to a conflict, that being the Mississippi Municipal League Conference in

Jackson, MS for elected officials of the State of Mississippi is scheduled for those dates and

the City Council finds it necessary to change the date for the January 8, 2019 meeting

allowing scheduled attendance to said conference.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that the meeting of Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at

5:30 p.m , that being a special meeting of the Laurel City Council shall be rescheduled and

conducted on January 11, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
