Laurel, MS, [Date]– A vacancy announcement for the City Council position in Ward 6 has been declared.  A Special Election will be held February 11, 2020 at:

Fire Station # 1(One) located at 314 Ellisville Blvd. in Ward 6

Candidates interested in qualifying must pick up a packet in the City Clerk’s office, located at 401 N 5^th Ave – 2^nd Floor, as soon as possible. All candidates will run as Independent Candidates.  Deadline to turn in all completed paperwork including the required Candidate Petition of registered voters’ signatures will be 5:00 PM January 22^nd, 2020.

Last day to register to vote in this Special Election will be Monday, January 13, 2020 at 5:00 PM.
