2022 Crawfest brings the heat

Community Bank’s Downtown Crawfest was held on Saturday, April 23rd from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and featured live music by Ty Taylor & the Kinfolk, drinks, and several teams competing to have the best recipes and tent decor—and over 7,000 pounds of crawfish!

State Coordinator for the Mississippi Main Street Association Thomas Gregory, Laurel resident and knife maker Jim Provost, former Boston Red Sox pitcher Jonathan Papelbon, TikTok star Stalekracker, and Elysian Beauty Bar owner and Laurel resident Lucy Nguyen served as this year’s judges.
