The City of Laurel is pleased to announce that A1 McDuffie Sanitation will now be providing trash collection services throughout the city! The family owned and operated company is based in Alabama and was awarded the contract with after the city council determined that their proposal would provide the best service to Laurel’s residents at the best price. A1 McDuffie will be distributing door hangers to introduce themselves to the community and to provide residents with additional information about when their garbage pickup day will be. The hanger will also include a QR code that can be scanned for more information. (QR codes work with the camera on a smart phone to open up a website once they have been scanned.)
